What we collect, why, and how to get rid of it.
Draft. This is a working draft written alongside the product, not legal advice. It needs a solicitor’s review, a real company name and a contact address before it is published.
What we collect
| Data | Why | Lawful basis |
|---|---|---|
| Email address | To create your account and send the sign-in link | Contract |
| FPL Team ID | To show your squad, points and leagues inside the app | Contract |
| Your saved drafts | So your planning is still there next week | Contract |
| Marketing consent | To record whether you agreed to the Gameweek Brief, and when | Consent |
| Usage analytics | To see which tools get used and what is broken | Consent |
We do not ask for your name, your date of birth, your location or your payment details, because we do not need them.
Email, specifically
Two different things share one address:
- Service email — your sign-in link, and the occasional notice about your account or a change to the service. You get these because you have an account; they are not marketing and you cannot opt out of them without closing the account.
- The Gameweek Brief — only if you ticked the box. Unticked by default. Every one carries a one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately.
We record when you gave consent and where you gave it, because we have to be able to evidence it. We never sell or share your address.
Third-party data and terms
The Fantasy Premier League data shown in this app comes from the Premier League via Pulselive and remains subject to the Premier League’s own terms and conditions. We hold no rights in it, we do not redistribute it, and we operate this site free of charge and non-commercially. Your FPL Team ID is a public identifier from that service; we store it only to show you your own squad.
Who processes it
| Processor | What for |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Database and authentication |
| Vercel | Hosting the site |
| Cloudflare | Relaying requests to the Fantasy Premier League API |
| Google Analytics | Usage measurement |
| [Email provider] | Sending sign-in links and the Brief |
Some of these process data outside the UK under standard contractual clauses. Each is listed with its own privacy terms in the published version.
Cookies
One essential cookie keeps you signed in. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them, and the site works identically if you decline.
How long we keep it
Account data for as long as your account exists, plus 30 days. Delete your account and everything tied to it — drafts, team link, consent record — goes with it. Analytics data is retained for 14 months.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw marketing consent at any time. Email [contact address] and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
